In order to ultimately reduce costs for our customers, Mobility Route primarily accepts payments via ACH (Direct Debit). The fees charged by payment processors are far less for ACH when compared to credit/debit card processing. Our billing system is fully integrated with Stripe who handles all of our payment processing.

We also does not accept payments by paper check, money order, or wire transfer, except in special one-off circumstances, but never for recurring payments. Additional handling fees may apply to these other methods. In the event that a customer prefers payment by debit/credit card for their recurring invoices, a 5% processing fee would also be applied.

Mobility Route had decided at our board level to almost exclusively move to an ACH driven payment process. This was factored into our current pricing plans, and the majority of our customers have already been established via ACH. Most probably use ACH with other vendors, including payroll processors.

We do still provide credit/debit card process in limited and exclusive cases, but it comes with a 5% processing fee on the transactions. This covers the fees charged by both our payment processor (Stripe) and billing system providers. The option for debit/credit card is however not accept under any circumstances in the following states due to laws prohibiting surcharges: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Kanas, Maine, Massachusetts, New York, Oklahoma and Texas.

ACH payments do pose additional risks to us as a merchant, but overall we don't experience the same levels of abuse in a B2B environment as faced by those businesses with consumer based transactions. ACH transactions come with much stricter requirements as well, being governed by NACHA banking laws and regulations.

If you are still certain you wish to pay by credit/debit card, the Account Owner must contact our Billing Team at [email protected] in order to make the request. If it is approved we will send a link to securely provide card information that will be entered into your Billing Portal.

Mobility Route DOES NOT accept payments by paper check, money order, or wire transfer, in the course of normal business. Additional handling fees may apply to these other methods when an exception is made.
